Building:
Location: The Wink Hotel Da Nang Riverside is ideally situated with expansive city views, nestled along the Han River in Da Nang. It provides a calm haven not far from important sites like the Han market and the famous Dragon Bridge, all while being well-located; centered and easily accessible to all the craziness that this vibrant city has to offer. If you want to be in the heart of all the action, this isn’t the place for you. But if you want to be close enough without all the headaches of the noise and traffic, then this is a sweet spot. The location gives a unique visual perspective of the city either from the river's side or the Son Tra side. Go up to the rooftop and take a 360-degree look around and you'll quickly get a feel of the entire city.
Décor: This hotel is an example of stylish, modern architecture, although it might take some people a little longer to love it due to its dark exterior during the day and boring box tower silhouette. This is the trend and the building wears that trend well. An inviting mood is enhanced by light-filled, spacious areas with massive floor-to-ceiling windows. The specially created drapes for Wink Riverside offer a distinctive touch. Whether they are connected rooms or suites, the accommodations have a contemporary look that blends perfectly with the atmosphere in the common areas. However, the hotel does seem to lack that “green” element of plant life which is simply a personal preference.
Service
Food: One of the hotel's highlights is its 24-hour self-serve dining services, which give visitors access to a wide selection of snacks, wines, and beers without having to go far. The hotel's commitment to accommodating individual preferences is also shown in its emphasis on self-service beer taps and a variety of products. However, I have to admit that on this trip I didn't get to eat any of the food so I will have to give them the benefit of the doubt and from what I have heard from my friends.
Cleanliness: The Wink Hotel Riverside upholds strict hygiene regulations, at least it seems to as everything in the building is still relatively new. The lack of single-use plastics supports their environmental objectives and helps create a greener, cleaner world. The rooms' contemporary style makes them easy to maintain in addition to being aesthetically pleasing. The hallways, the elevators, the common areas, even the freshly painted solid-color walls were all spotless; and the bed's presentation was nearly perfect!
Experience
Uniqueness: This hotel stands out in the hospitality industry in Vietnam because of its dedication to adopting modern styles and rejecting antiquated customs. Recognizing the increasing trend of tourists working remotely, the co-working areas, which are free for visitors, add a creative and convenient touch that I wish more traditional brands would incorporate.
Value: Outstanding
value. With features like a small rooftop pool and amazing views, a variety
of services, and cashless payment convenience, the hotel makes sure that
visitors have a full and fulfilling stay without breaking the bank. In fact, it is a wonderful alternative to the pricier options in the city. Travelers who care about the
environment will find the added layer of value that comes with a dedication to
sustainability.
